The Aspirata Auditing Testing and Certification (Pty) Ltd - Occupational Hygiene Services is a SANAS Accredited Inspection Body, as well as a Department of Employment and Labour Approved Inspection Authority in the field of Occupational Hygiene. The Aspirata team is looking for individuals who recently graduated or who are studying towards a relevant degree in Occupational Hygiene to join the team as Learners.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Graduate in the field of Occupational Hygiene or studying towards a relevant degree (part-time students only)
• Professional registration with SAIOH as a ROHA would be an advantage
• Valid legal knowledge certificate would be an advantage
• Valid ethics training certificate would be an advantage
• Driver's license (or in the process of acquiring) and own reliable vehicle would be an advantage
• Valid passport would be an advantage
• Willingness to travel.

• Assist in calibration and preparation of monitoring equipment, sample media,

Description

The role of the Senior Veterinary Technologist Diagnostics in the testing laboratories is to plan the testing schedule and to conduct the testing of samples submitted to the laboratory so that work is completed within required turnaround times. This includes but is not limited to entering of results, equipment monitoring, conforming to and maintaining ISO17025 quality system in the test laboratory and working effectively with the relevant business service units to achieve these objectives.

Requirements

• National Diploma or Degree in Veterinary Technology.
• Must hold registration with SAVC.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a laboratory as a Veterinary technologist.
• Experience as a technical signatory (advantageous).

Requirements

• BSc. in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biochemistry, Microbiology) or equivalent experience.
• Additional qualifications in Sales and Marketing (advantageous)
• 10+ years of experience in sales and business development, with a focus on food safety services.
• 5+ years in a managerial role overseeing sales teams.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing complex projects.

Responsibilities

Revenue generation:

• Manage and support Sales Team with the following:
  • Employ all necessary sales strategies to ensure annual targets are met.
  • Develop close business relationships with key stakeholders at each client.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce additional products and services with the intention of increasing the annual revenue generated from each client.
  • Attempt to secure service level agreements with all clients.
  • Conduct accurate costing analysis to ensure services offered are in line with client budget and profitability requirements.
  • Identify new business opportunities by sourcing new prospects and setting up meetings.
