Food Safety Culture Training

Food Safety Culture can be defined as the food safety attitudes, values and beliefs shared by a group of people. It is the product of employee attitudes, beliefs and behaviours that determine the commitment to and robustness of an organisation’s food safety management. This awareness training will assist organisations in gaining knowledge of what food safety culture is.

The course covers concepts and themes of:

  • GFSI food safety culture requirements:

    • Adaptability
    • Consistency
  • The history of the concept of food safety culture:

Course outline

  • Understand the food safety culture in the food production environment.
  • Assist organizations in gaining knowledge and understanding what food safety culture is.
  • Provide organisations with the necessary skills and knowledge to implement a food safety programme.
  • Provide references and practical tools to be used along your journey.

An examination will be completed at the end of the course.
